How do I book an appointment?
All appointments are booked online through the patient portal. All interested parties should create a patient portal account by filling out the new patient registration form.
Does it matter if I see another doctor, or more than one doctor?
Alexa MD welcomes all patients. It is ok to have a different primary doctor.
What are the appointment prices?
First time visits require an Initial 60 minute appointment. Prices are: 60 mins $250, 45 mins $187, and 30 mins $125.
Do you accept Insurance?
No, Alexa MD is not partnered with any insurance companies and all visits will be an out-of-pocket expense. As an out-of-network provider, we can provide insurance superbills, and these can be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Is there a phone number I can call?
Alexa MD is a virtual office. All inquiries can be sent using our secure messaging system through our patient portal. To create a patient portal, please fill out a new patient registration form.
Can I send previous medical records or previous test results to Alexa MD?
Yes, medical records and results are accepted and encouraged. These can be uploaded through your patient portal.
How do I request a prescription?
All Rx requests must be submitted via the patient portal and require an appointment with the doctor. Existing patients may request Rx refills via the patient portal. Rx requests can take up to 48 hours.
Can I order more supplements on my own?
Yes, supplements can be ordered through Alexa MD’s dispensaries. Access to these can be found under our Shop section, or with the following links: Fullscript and Designs for Health
Where can I find my lab order requisition?
Lab orders will be listed in your patient portal under “Labs and Documents.”
Can I use my insurance for lab work?
All lab work will be done through third party laboratories, such as Quest or Labcorp. Insurance can be applied under the terms and conditions of those laboratories.
How do I order a NewWave kit?
